Guess What the theme of this series of pictures is.

 

Yes! The security safety in Hunter College is the theme of these pictures. As you can see, not only is safety guard outside the Hunter Colleg front door, but also inside everywhere in the school.

Why did i take this series of pictures? This is because I am annoyed by this kind of security thing, the fate. When I was holding many thins, it was so hard to take out my student ID to swipe through the gate. Several times, when I was thinking something elso concentrately I did not even notice the bar. I thrust into it. I was so embarrassed. However, when I had a second thought, I think that Hunter College is quite thoughtful. It cares for the disabled; it cares for the safety of students. I understand why Hunter College does so many such things. The purpose is saving the student's rights and makeing sure that there are not strangers entering the school. Being in the center of Manhattan, these kind of secuity things are necessary.

I like the first picture very much, which had a cop car outside the school. I like the perspective, the light and angle of that picture. The picture tells you everything. You know where I took it and when I took it.

Besides, I took the back of the security guard. I feel like thay are more bloodless, powerful and authoritative when i look at the back.

Furthermore, I think swiping the student card should be a part of Hunter student's school life. We need to swipe the card when we enter and leave the school. Gate entry is everywhere, like library and cafeteria. Therefore I took the picuresregarding the safety.

Apart from the safety, Hunter College respects the disabled. I can see the disabled logos that show the direction or help corner throughout the school. Therefore, I took it to show that Hunter College is a reliable and safe college. Every parent can have relief.
